QueerWay

A song cycle of celebration of queer life in the Rhondda Valley

QueerWay is a vibrant original contemporary musical theatre song cycle celebrating LGBTQ+ people’s determination to be “I Am What I Am”.

Soulful and feel-good life stories from Rhondda Cynon Taf are at the heart of QueerWay.

It’s a sequin-soaked celebration of Queer people.

Inspired by life stories of LGBTQ+ people, QueerWay explores life’s ups and downs:  finding lesbian love in your 50s and the love of a mother for her Trans child…

“Shall I call you Michael now?” “Yes, please.” “Ok, no problem, and please bear with  me as I make mistakes along the way, but please know…I love you anyway.”

Songs move effortlessly from the poignant to the laugh-out-loud funny.

Revel in the joy of Anthem, a jam-packed witty mega mix of Judy Garland, Madonna, the Village People, Kylie and Lizzo (and many more). Expect almost every song danced to in clubs, sung in karaoke bars or lip-synced at home.

Come (out) and enjoy a great night.
