Theatre which explores the challenges of being a working class single Mum, this new piece of work is a window into the lives of those unsung heroines who just get on with it day after day after day.

Developed by Angharad Lee ,who herself has been a single Mum for years, this piece will challenge what we think we know about the day to day lives of these superhumans.

“ I’ll tell you a definition of being a single parent…complicated living because when you split from the parents of your child and then you introduce other people into the mix, a whole gang  of people who pull in opposite directions….Oh it’s just complicated sometimes isn’t it?”

Leeway are delighted to be collaborating with singer and multi instrumentalist, Lleuwen Steffan to develop this piece, alongside a fabulous group of Mami’s who are contributing to the project.
